06 & 07 Feb10 : SYMA Child Fest was organized at NKT Girls Higher Secondary School , Triplicane in which more than 4000 students from various Schools participated. The Drawing competition alone attracted 3000 students. Sri Gopianth of Vijay TV fame and Sri V.Jayaprakash, Vice President, Star Health Insurance, Actor Vivek and Sri Murali of Sri Krishna Sweets were the chief guests.

For more than a decade, Childrens Day is celebrated by organising inter-school competitions. Around 3500 students from 100 schools all over Chennai take part in these competitions.

Every year `Magalir Vizha' is celebrated in association with `Soundarya Ratnamala Isai Kuzhu' in which competitions are held in various disciplines for the ladies

23 Mar 08 : In association with Soundarya Ratna Mala Isai Kuzhu organized “Triplicane Magalir Vizha 2008” which is held at Mahakavi Bharathiyar Illam. Various competition were organized and Smt. Savithri Vaithi (Vishranthi), Smt. R Lalitha Lakshmi, (Deputy Commissioner of Police) were also participated and distributed the prizes for the winners.

07 Jan 07 : A festival to celebrate the rich cultural heritage of Triplicane was organized as “Thiruvallikkeni Thiruvizha”. Various programme were held which attracted a galaxy of stars. The programme was well received and lauded by the residents of Triplicane.

30 Nov 06 : We have organized “VILLUPATTU” in association with Sri Krishna Sweets under their programme Nalthorum Nallathu Seivom. Villupattu was performed by daughter of Famous Kalaingar Sri Subbu Arumugam, Kalaimamani Smt. Bharathi Thirumagan and her groups performed on “Desiyamum Deiveegamum”

02 Sep 06 : SYMA in association with PSI (Public Services International) organized Drawing competition for 9 th to 12 th standard students around 100 students were participated. We appreciate the efforts taken by Mr. R Kannan.

28 Mar 2006 : Nama Sangeerthanam by Kovai Jayaraman and party was arranged at Sri Parthasarathy Swamy Temple Tank in association with Sri Krishna Sweets.

19 Feb 2006 : Abhang Harikatha by Kadayanallur Thukaram Ganapathy Maharaj was arranged at Sri Parthasarathy Swamy Temple Tank in association with Sri Krishna Sweets. Mr. A.M.Rajagopalan (Editor, Kumudam Jothidam) spoke on the occasion.

14 Jan 2006 : A lecture was arranged at Sri Parthasarathy Swamy Temple Tank in association with Sri Krishna Sweets. Dr Sudha Seshayyan spoke on “Theril Vandha Dheivam”.

07 Jan 2006 / 08 Jan 2006 : A festival to celebrate the rich cultural heritage of Triplicane was organized as “Thiruvallikkeni Thiruvizha”. Various programmes were held during the two day fete which attracted a galaxy of stars - Sudha Raghunathan, Chinmayee, Vikkoo Vinayakaram, S.A.M Hussain (Triplicane MLA), S.Ve.Sekhar, Boskey, Delhi Ganesh, R.Nataraj (Commissioner of Police) and P.Nagarajan (Councilor). The programme was well received and lauded by the residents of Triplicane.

26 Nov 2005 / 27 Nov 2005 : SYMA Child Fest was organized at NKT Girls Higher Secondary School , Triplicane in which more than 3500 students from 100 Schools participated. The Drawing competition alone attracted 2219 students.

Cine Actor Surya (Gajini Fame), Mr. M.Murali (Krishna Sweets) and Mr. S.A.M.Hussain (Triplicane MLA) inaugurated the Child Fest.

Cine Actors Vikram, Aarthy and Mrs. Revathi Sankaran distributed prizes to the winners.

June 2005 : VASANTHA VIZHA was organized in the Sri Parthasarathy Swamy Temple Tank, in which the young Carnatic Musicians of Triplicane were provided a platform to showcase their talent.

19 May 2005 : A Villupaattu on “Thaai Thandhai Uravu” by Sri. Subbu Arumugam and party was organized in association with Sri Krishna Sweets at the the Sri Parthasarathy Swamy Temple Tank.

19 May 2005 : A kolam competition for ladies was held in the Sri Parthasarathy Swamy Temple Tank. Around 50 ladies participated. Mrs. Srikala Bharath, noted exponent of Bhratanatyam graced the occasion.

27 - 28 Nov 2004 : Child Fest, an inter school cultural competition was organized in association with Round Table Area II at N.K.T.National Girls Higher Secondary School , Triplicane. Competitions were held in the disciplines like singing, group dance, quiz, drawing, fancy dress and oration. Around 3000 students from over 100 schools participated.

Tblr Linesh Sanath Kumar, Chairman, Round Table Area inaugurated the Child Fest in the presence of the MLA of the Triplicane constituency Mr S.A.M.Hussain, Mr Chandrasekar, Chairman, MSRT 123 and Mrs. Prema Krishna Mohan, President, SRM Isai Kuzhu.

Cine Stars Srikanth, Prasanna and Indian Test Cricketer L.Balaji gave away the prizes to the winners.
