Our members distributed sweets to the inmates at Childrens Hospital . Food packets were distributed to poor slum dwellers on a Republic Day. Sweets were collected from members and distributed to the residents of Hanumanthapuram on a Diwali day.

02 Oct 2005 : On Gandhi Jayanthi day, our volunteers visited Sivasakthi Home, Alapakkam – an orphanage for the destitute. Sweets and savouries were distributed to the inmates and new pillows with covers were given to 45 inmates. Mr. S.Ve.Sekhar (Cine Artiste) accompanied us and donated 65 shawls to the inmates.

19 Aug 2001 : Our members visited Government Orphanage for Girls and Boys (Juvenile Home) at Kellys. Sweets were distributed and cultural programmes were organised.

01 May 1994 : As part of the May Day Celebrations, the Association arranged a function inviting Corporation workers in Triplicane at Samarao School .

14 Nov 1990 : Our members visited the orphanage at Udavum Karangal and distributed clothes and sweets to the inmates on Diwali day.

24 Dec 1987 : A water   tank   was   set up in Kamaraj  Salai for the benefit of  the people  visting  the   beach   to   pay their last   respect   to    the   former   Chief Minister Late Sri. M.G.Ramachandran.

16 May 1987 : Lunch was provided to the workers who were involved in the renovation of Sri Parthasarathy Swamy Temple Tank.
