“There are two types of people – those who take the credit and those who work. Try to be in the latter category”. These were the immortal words of Smt . Indira Gandhi, former Prime Minister of India .
We at SYMA feel that it is our bounden duty to turn the spot light on those who work for other's cause. They are the silent workers, keeping a low profile and doing yeomen service to the society - day in and day out.
The SYMA Seva Award was instituted in 2003 to honour such people. The only criterion for the selection is consistent service for the public cause . Every year, we select people who have excelled in the area of service to the society and give them the SYMA SEVA AWARD – our way of saluting the selfless soul. |
